Privacy Policy

ProofOS is provided by Elido AB. This policy explains which personal data we process when you visit proof-os.com and when you use ProofOS at app.proof-os.com, why we process it, how long we keep it and the rights you have.

01

Data controller

The controller of the processing is Elido AB, company reg. no. 559553-0873, Lindliden 7, 286 36 Örkelljunga, Sweden. For privacy matters, contact us at support@proof-os.com.

02

Who this policy is for

This policy applies to visitors to proof-os.com and users of ProofOS. ProofOS is intended for professional use, but you do not need to operate a limited company to be covered by this policy.

03

Data we process

Account and identity: name, email and account identifier that Google shares when you sign in. Content you create in ProofOS: goals, working material, CRM contacts, notes, prepared outreach and recorded outcomes. Prospect data: information about companies and people in professional roles that ProofOS helps you engage. Technical data: information needed to deliver, secure and troubleshoot the service, e.g. IP address, device data, timestamps and event logs. Payment data is handled by Stripe (see section 07); we do not store your card details.

04

Why we process the data

We process data to deliver ProofOS under the terms, to verify companies and facts you use in outreach, to prioritize the next move based on your recorded outcomes, to administer accounts and subscriptions, to handle payments, for security, abuse protection and troubleshooting, and to comply with legal obligations.

05

Legal basis

Processing is mainly based on performance of a contract with you (delivering ProofOS). Certain processing, such as security logging and abuse protection, is based on our legitimate interest. Where consent is required by law we ask for it, and you can withdraw it at any time. Accounting and tax law require us to retain certain records for mandatory periods.

06

Sign-in with Google

You sign in to ProofOS with Google. When you do, we receive basic identity information from Google, such as name, email and account identifier, to the extent needed for authentication. We do not request access to your Gmail, Drive, Calendar or other Google services.

07

Payments via Stripe

Payments for ProofOS are handled by Stripe. When you start a subscription we send Stripe only the information needed to create and maintain the subscription. Stripe is an independent controller for its own payment processing and operates under its own privacy policy. We do not store full card details in our systems.

08

AI and technical providers

ProofOS uses external providers for AI processing, cloud operations, hosting and infrastructure. These providers may process information as needed to deliver the service, always under confidentiality and, where applicable, under a data processing agreement. AI providers help ProofOS reason about what you write or what ProofOS prepares. AI output is treated as suggestion — never as verified fact.

09

Prospect data about companies and professional contacts

ProofOS can help you find and verify companies relevant to what you want to test. That information may contain personal data, for example name, professional role, work email or work phone for people representing a company. ProofOS aims to verify identity and sources before information is used as a fact in prepared outreach. When you choose to contact someone, you are responsible for making sure your outreach complies with applicable law — for example the GDPR, ePrivacy and national marketing rules. We provide the tool; you are responsible for how you use it.

10

Cookies and local storage

The marketing site proof-os.com does not set marketing or analytics cookies. It only stores your language preference (SV/EN) in your browser’s localStorage so the site loads in the right language next time. In the ProofOS app at app.proof-os.com, strictly necessary cookies or equivalent storage may be used for sign-in, security and basic operation.

11

How long we keep data

We keep account and content data for as long as your account is active and thereafter for the time needed to close the subscription, handle disputes or comply with law (e.g. Swedish bookkeeping law). Security and event logs are kept for a limited period for operations and abuse protection. On account closure we delete or anonymize personal data as described in section 15.

12

Recipients of data

Data may be processed by our providers for cloud operations, AI, payments, authentication, email delivery, customer support tooling, security and troubleshooting. Where applicable these act as data processors. We do not sell personal data and we do not share data for third-party marketing. Data may be disclosed if required by law or a public authority order.

13

International transfers

Some providers may be established outside the EU/EEA or process data in countries outside the EU/EEA. Where that happens, appropriate safeguards required under the GDPR are used. Contact us for information about current transfers.

14

Security

We work actively with technical and organisational measures to protect data against unauthorised access, loss and unlawful disclosure. Measures include access control, traffic encryption, logging and regular review of routines.

15

Account closure and deletion

When you cancel your subscription or close your account, your content is deleted or anonymized within a reasonable time, except where law requires longer retention. You may request deletion under section 16.

16

Your rights under the GDPR

You have the right to request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to certain processing. Where processing is based on consent you may withdraw it. To exercise your rights, contact us at support@proof-os.com.

17

Complaint to a supervisory authority

If you believe our processing breaches data protection law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), imy.se, or another competent supervisory authority where you live or work.

18

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the service, providers or law changes. Material changes are announced in ProofOS or by email. The current version is always available at proof-os.com/privacy.
